Building on the tradition of the Forest Legality Alliance semi-annual partners’ meeting that WRI hosted in past years, we are pleased to announce that WRI will host the first “Washington Forest Legality Week” October 17-19, with the generous support and cooperation of the U.S. Forest Service.

This training material developed by the Proforest Initiative provides information on the EU Timber Regulation (EUTR), FLEGT and related topics, such as legality, certification, verification, or chain of custody. It was created as a training of trainers to inform small and medium sized enterprises about the requirements of the EUTR, but can be adapted to different needs.
The training includes PowerPoint presentations, exercises, a glossary, link collection, agenda and manual.
